At the stroke of midnight on 03/16/2018 the long awaited documovie from Zak Bagans (Ghost Adventures) was released, The movie has taken about 3 years to make with crew member's quitting or being fired, the movie it seems was cursed from the start.
Going back to 2014 the Ammons family became front and center of international newspapers not for any crimes but for the overwhelming amount of reports of possession by dark forces that have latched on to the family, the reports came from police, nurses and child protection services all of which have witnessed firsthand the supernatural going on at the house, soon as the house hit the headlines Zak Bagans felt the need to buy the property, there were to many reports and the need to investigate was a must.

The filming had started and the investigation was a go, what was he and his crew going to find? this is when things it started to go downhill a little, reports that one of the main crew members quit due to the house which were denied. Then it went pretty quiet for a while, now and again you would get some updates on what was going on, eventually Zak knocked the house down and the reason? in his mind no one should live in the house.
Forward to now and the documovie is released in selected movie theaters and on demand services. So what did people think of the movie? it seems it is having mixed reviews for many reason but what does stand out from most documovies is that it has advisory notice at the start warning you about the movie and the reason is because there have been reports that people who have watched the movie have started to have things happen to them and dubbing the movie as cursed.

Last night 03/16/2018 I ordered the movie to watch and from the start I was having issues streaming it, was this what he was talking about? maybe but it could also be my rubbish satellite internet service, I tried changing the streaming settings on Amazon Video with no real affect, every now and again it would stop and glitch and this is the first time this has ever happened and to be honest it was high probability it was just streaming.
The movie starts almost like Ghost Adventures with Zak Bagans narrating over the video explaining about the case, cut back of news reports about the family and about Zak himself. In a way this movie still had the feel of the TV series but without the intro of it. Unlike the TV series this had a more serious tone.
Ghost Adventures has some humor while this did not really have any, this was a no hold bars movie. The movie was not bad over all, I will not give away what was found but the outcome everyone really knows what had happened to the house, there is couple of creepy evidence but I was disappointed that they did not utilize more equipment, it would of been great to see the SLS camera and FLIR, there must of been a reason why these were not in the movie.
I would have used everything I had at my disposal to capture evidence, maybe they did use them but lack of evidence it ended up on the cutting room floor when editing. To be honest the movie in my opinion did not have the scare factor it was hyped out to be, the evidence was little creepy but wasn't enough to warrant the advisory at the start and the reenactments could have been better, nothing crazy happened during or after the movie but each person is different.
I am not saying this movie is bad because it is not, if you are fan of Ghost Adventures you will not be disappointed and if you are curious of the supernatural this worth a watch. Overall the movie has had a positive reaction and rightly so, some may not like it and that is fine each to their own, the case was real and raw and I think it was portrayed that way.
Many people may not agree with showing demon type cases and it should be a private matter, the fact that this was already out in the public domain that thought should be dismissed. Cases of possession in the last few years has increased not sure the reason for that would be but it has, is it because of these shows or movies ? I doubt it, I believe most of these cases can be dismissed, as for the family that lived in the house I cannot say if most of it was truth or just fictional but for the fact there were other reports from other people not related to the family makes this case more interesting.
