With so many Paranormal shows on TV these days it's hard press to find some good ones or even to take a gamble on. Over the last few months I have found some that I think that are worth the watch and they are not even on traditional TV. So lets delve right in.
Hellier 2
Picture from Paramormalmuseum.com
Hellier 2 does not disappoint, Following from their research and their investigations in to the goblin case from a email that was sent to them from few years prior. Things take an even bizarre turn when it goes from search of goblins in Hellier to the Infamous Greenman to Pan and back to Goblin, Just like the first season show the second is not your run of the mill Paranormal show.
Hellier in my opinion has great story, Interesting investigation and some crazy experiments and with some shocking results, again the film photography is really good if not better in this and it fits the mood and style. You have to have open mind with this series and go with the flow, don't expect your normal ghost hunting series we have all come custom to.
The series uses the term Synchronicities a lot, a *concept first introduced Carl Jung, when something has no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related. *Wikipedia.
while I was watching one of the last episodes of Season 2 Greg Newkirk read few names from a book and one of them was Grubb, seems irrelevant but my wife's maiden name was Grubbe, I asked her about her last name and she explained it was German and it was originally Grubb.
I looked in to the name and Grubbe and is in fact German and the older version of that comes from England and spelled Grubb, the Grubb's settled in Ireland and also were one of the first settlers in America coming over as Quakers. While watching this one particular episode it dawned on me we had a wall ornament hanging up and realized it was the Greenman, a face in leaf.
It never crossed my mind that while watching the series 2 that we had this hanging on our wall, I never really liked this ornament to much and thought it was bit odd, my wife liked it and we ended up buying it couple of years ago.
This could of been someone's art piece that they decided to make or intentionally made, maybe she didn't pick it, maybe it picked her. my wife loves being outside with nature and even goes bare foot to garden so this kind of fits for her, what about me ? well I'm welsh, Celtic, lived around woods, mountains, the countryside is were I feel more relaxed and at ease. This is of course is just coincidence.
If you have not watched the first seson I recommend that you do, both seasons are on Amazon prime and on YouTube, Watch the first episode of season 1 below and if you have watched season 1 and you haven't seen season 2, I have put the link below as well.

Afterlife Sessions
Afterlife Session is something different in the Paranormal game and little refreshing with host Zack Smith and Connor Biddle, the series has laid back and engaging feeling as Zack starts with his monologue to introduce you to the episode, great photography and title sequence.
The series is also inspired by paranormal concepts. Thoughts and beliefs gives this series something new, with little more backing this would be a great television series to watch. I was surprised how good this was and to think I came across it by accident on Amazon Video.
This is their bio on YouTube,
"Afterlife Sessions is a paranormal documentary series featuring Zach Smith. Using concepts that have existed over the past century within our existence, the crew attempts to validate the afterlife using techniques of the past, present, and future. This series takes the audience on a quest through the spectrum of the supernatural at America's haunted locations."
There is only 4 episodes to the first season and it leaves you wanting more, they have something here and it's well worth a watch.

A Blood Red Sky
I wasn't expecting much from this to be honest and the only reason it caught my eye is because of parapsychologist Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe, best known from the paranormal tv series Most Haunted in the UK.
A Blood Red Sky is directed and produced by Chad Calek, if you are not familiar to the name he appeared on the US series Paranormal State, the documentary is filmed at Chillingham Castle England and becomes a centre of psychological experiment with the crew, Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe doing what he does best, sit and observe and give feed back and coming up with rashonal explanation on what is going on, but what he doesn't know is that he is part of that same experiment.
The movie brings up a good point, is a haunting just in your mind. The quality of the picture isn't as good in the sense of todays quality cameras but for the time of this recording it was probably good quality.
Chad puts his team in to some extreme situations in order to provoke what could be at the castle, if you have some spare time and want to watch documentary by award winner Chad Calek then this is good start.
Extend Trailer below
You can watch the movie on Amazon video as part of prime or you can rent it from Vudu and possibly on YouTube. There is another one by Chad Calek on Amazon called Sir NoFace and that is worth watching if you are bored as well, it's drawn out movie with pointless clips and irrelevant interviews but I could see the reasoning behind it.

I personally watch paranormal shows for what they are, entertainment, I'm not saying that these movies or series are fake just that I don't take them to serious but are worth the watch.
